Developing the hand-sculpted filigree was a process of understanding the neural pathways that were created from trauma, how this has affected the sense of self, and the meditative and vulnerable resilience of rewiring decades of self-limiting beliefs.
Tumor Home was a temporary outdoor installation, exploring neglectful parenthood and the silent abuse I experienced behind closed doors. Installed in a former residence, it was placed in plain sight, exposed to the elements.
